New Massenza MI12 drilling rig with double rotary head

This powerful MI12 has been entirely customized for a Swiss customer. It is equipped with a double rotary head: the upper one has the important task of perforating the well with the rods and the tool, the lower one’s duty is positioning the casing of the coating at the same time as the perforation. This system assures the driller a high level of flexibility and control to operate in the most heterogeneous terrain. Though powerful, it has been designed with incredibly compact dimensions, impossible to find elsewhere on the market. These reduced measures allow to drill even in the most restricted places. The MI12 is well equipped with the following components: • magnetic device for using rods • radio control to operate in position of maximum safety and visibility • protective cage and emergency stop buttons, according to EC regulations • onboard mounted cranes for easy handling of drill shafts, casings and geothermal pipes.
