Ultralight Backpacking on the Allegheny Front Trail - Pennsylvania - Backpacking Adventure

With fall almost over, we decided to hit up the Allegheny Front Trail in Pennsylvania for some rocky trails, mud, and "pretty good views". (You have to watch in order to get that) Great group of guys on this backpacking trip: Chris AKA "Dr. Dyneema" (owner and mastermind behind LiteAF), "Frozen" (Outdoor Adventures), Gary "Shorts" (HiketheHike), "Hound" (somehow always in the lead), "MilesToGO" (one of the nicest hikers I've ever met), Jackson aka "ChooChoo" (my son), and Scott aka "Briar" (yours truly). Being late fall, temps were perfect, with daytime highs in the mid 40's and night time temps dropping into the lower 20's. I was pleasantly surprised with the varied terrain and the overall condition of this trail. Big props to the guys and gals who maintain this trail! I would highly recommend this trail to an experienced backpacker as well as someone looking to get their feet wet! You'll find that funny once you hike the trail!
