My first custom bow - the Recurve Take Down bow by Falkenholz 💙 I have started my journey into archery October 2018 with a rented bow. I was pretty sure what I want and so I have ordered my first custom bow at Falkenholz Bogendesign beginning November 2018. 15. March 2019 the bow was ready for me and we have traveled to the bowyer to get the bow. It’s been a very exciting day and the bow still amazes me ☺️ It’s a LH bow, because I was suffering from a frozen shoulder (left side), so I was learning mediterranean style left handed first. The bow is silent and very stable. No handshock whatsoever - even with lighter arrows. There is no min recommended arrow weight and max draw was no topic, since my mediterranean draw length is 24,5” 😁 The first set of limbs was 22lbs / 28” and approximately half a year later I have upgraded to 33 lbs / 28”. In mediterranean style I currently pull 27,5 lbs with these limbs. The bow still shoots excellently and is very reliable.
