In this video I show an old Bearcat BC-101 scanner. I do program 1 channel that I had to figure out the switch positions using a formula to find what switches were up and down. This old set is rough, dirty but still sounds good and works relatively good. The contacts are real dirty and need cleaned bad. The squelch potentiometer is so dirty it does not even work anymore. Hopefully soon I can get in this thing and get it all cleaned up and working 100%. For now, I call it a success that I can even program it and make it produce sound. DISCLAIMER: My apologies for the complete lack of quality in this video. I mentioned previously that I need a new camera and a PC. I tried editing and uploading in 100% HD and no matter what I tried, this old PC kept failing. So today we get a Windows media file low res. EDIT: Here is a link to the owners manual. It is complete.
