We did this scene at American Academy of Dramatic Arts 🎭 and decided to do it one more time after completing the Summer program. Character and scene analysis Two main character: Claire played by Angela Moore and Catherine played by Malon Mahotiere Catherine's character is a college drop out and spent most of her years at home caring after her mentally ill father until he passes away. Although she is highly intelligent, she has no direction in life. She is worried that she may inherit her fathers illness and the signs of mental instability are already there. Claire's character is an efficient, practical and successful older sister. Unlike her younger sister, she has inherited none of her fathers erratic genius instead she's made a career as a currency analyst in New York. Claire and Catherine have never gotten along well. Claire feels responsible for Catherine and wants to move her to New York but Catherine resents her and believes Claire is interfering in her personal life
