FREE CAMPING NEAR SAGUARO NATIONAL PARK! and... SHOULD I GET A PET AS A SOLO FEMALE NOMAD? I've been told that I should get a dog for company and protection. And although I am an animal lover, I do recognize that adopting a pet is a big commitment, one I'm not ready to make. HOWEVER, I know there is a pet for me somewhere, someday... and I do believe that it will happen how it almost happened this time. I know that in my heart, I am ready... I was already picturing myself with this adorable kitty! I still think of him and how much love I felt during the short time he visited me. He was very vocal and so so very sweet! I thought that it was wise to give it time, to keep packing while he may be feel comfortable with me and decided to stay... but, once I was ready packing the inside of my home and then went to check on him, he was gone 😥 I'm sure he would had come back if I stayed there longer but it was moving day and it was getting late. I needed to stick with my decision... but I do still think of him and his faith. I hope he found a loving home. What would you have done? I thought of him all the way to my destination, the most beautiful desert garden that I've ever seen near the Saguaro National Park.
