Megan's Mission

Megan Bugg passed away on March 9, 2022 after a 7 year and 2 month battle with stage 4 Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma (ARMS), which is one of the most aggressive forms of childhood cancer. Throughout her personal fight, she became a passionate national advocate for childhood cancer while raising $950,000 to directly fund promising research projects aimed at developing less toxic and more effects treatment for ARMS. Megan was adamant that her mission to end childhood cancer continue. She left us all with a challenge that her family and friends are determined to fulfill. Her mission will be forever memorialized with the formation of the "Megan Bugg Global Rhabdomyosarcoma Research Laboratory" at the Children's Cancer Therapy Development Institute in Beaverton, OR.
