Originally Uploaded: 10/11/2010 Thank you for watching my videos, Hiram Original text: In this video I do a boil test on the Esbit Solid Fuel Stove Set using my Cottle Vertical Wick burner. I've used this burner in previous tests. One test was with the Swiss Ranger Volcano stove - Lab0101. Two cups of water boiled in 5 minutes. Another test I used an aluminum Boy Scout pot and a hardware cloth pot stand - Lab0100. Two cups of water boiled in 6 minutes and 43 seconds. I was a little disappointed in the boil time on this test so I'll probably do another test using the Boy Scout pot.
