What began years ago as an intimate cultural gathering has evolved into a multi-day celebration welcoming more than 15,000 attendees. Today, the festival transcends genres and formats, standing as one of Central America’s most ambitious platforms for electronic music, live arts, gastronomy, and cultural dialogue. The Cacao Amor Stage, named after KEENE’s record label Cacao Records, represents the duo’s curatorial DNA. The label has spotlighted emerging talent across Latin America, Europe, and Africa while consistently amplifying Central American electronic artists on the global stage. Through their work, Panama has hosted artists such as Louie Vega, Anane, Mano Le Tough, Anja Schneider, Carlita, Carl Craig, Desiree, Facundo Mohrr, DJ Tennis, Horse Meat Disco, Kitty Amor, and JAMIIE, among others. This set captures KEENE at a pivotal moment: rooted in Afro-Caribbean identity, shaped by years in Berlin’s underground circuit, and energized by the growing international visibility of Panama’s cultural scene.
