The DJI Osmo Nano is a powerful tool for film making and capturing unique POV shots. In this video, I take the Osmo Nano out for some testing in the field, using D-Log M for all of that 10 bit goodness. If you're considering purchasing the Osmo Nano, this video is for you. 00:00 Overhead POV - Making Coffee 00:41 Intro 01:00 It's a SMALL camera 01:19 Test footage - Outdoors / Mixed lighting conditions - ISO 100 - 800 02:05 Test footage - Indoor - ISO 12800 02:32 Rocksteady needs 50fps 03:01 No focus modes. Completely autofocus 03:26 Walk smoothly for smooth footage duh. At least you don't need to crab walk 03:47 ISO 12800 is useable! Noise pattern doesn't irritate me 04:09 The ND filters take time to switch out. The rubber gasket can fall out. Motion blur looks great with Rocksteady 04:31 I put gaff tape on the logo and blue cloth tape to remove the brightness of the recording light 05:10 It's a wider Field of View (FOV) than I'm used to, but I like it 05:35 Deep Dive, AUDIO TESTS with DJI Mic Mini and DJI Mic 2 06:38 The in-built mic is useable and pleasing! 06:58 Conclusions 07:21 Would I recommend? 📸 Follow me on Instagram / daren.film 🎥 Gear List Shot on: DJI Osmo Nano, Osmo Pocket 3 and Sony a6700 with the Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 and Sigma 30mm f/1.4 Edited in: Davinci Resolve
