SOUNDBITE (French) Junko Shimada, designer - on the colors: "The color is very important. This time, I don't know why I settled on this violet. I don't know why. I noticed it goes well with the mustard and the burgundy." 8. Various of clothes STORYLINE: Junko Shimada has gone retro chic cozy with her Fall/Winter 2026 collection in Paris. The Japanese designer presented a collection that included a nod to Swinging London with a series of shift dress of patchwork boiled wool in violet and mustard. Denim pieces were lined with fleece printed in a trompe l’œil cable knit motif. Mohair sweaters and tartan pants completed the cozy ensemble of comfortable outfits. Tailoring remains central to Shimada's creations, alongside wearability on a daily basis. "The inspiration was taken from the everyday life. I imagine a lady, a woman who works and is independent and needs to add a little novel thing to her day," she said. =========================================================== Clients are reminded to adhere to all listed restrictions and to check the terms of their licence agreements.
