Checkout flights are great because they pair pilots with instructors again which is something that they might not have done for some time. I see checkouts as a chance for pilots to showcase their skills and for me to assess whether they are safe to fly the particular aircraft on their own. I focus on the manoeuvres that I believe will show that the pilot is safe to fly and while you're not seeing everything we did on the flight in this video, you're seeing the main highlights.
