In this case at the final (4th) appointment of laser assisted periodontal treatment we proceeded with extraction of hopeless molar #27 and implant placement at site #26. The Cervcio guide by VPI was utilised in order to assist with proper implant placement and determination of the desired custom cervical profile to be generated at implant uncovery, utilising the proper custom healing abutment fabricated by the mold of the Cervico system (video to follow). A V3 (B+) 5.0 x 10 was utilised and although the site was verified as type 3 bone quality an insertion torque of almost 60/Cm was achieved without undersizing the osteotomy. V3 geometry allowed us to maintain thicker bone facially without need for additional grafting. Enjoy.
