1961 Triumph TR3A - a quick look

A brief look at my 1961 Triumph TR3A. Actually, a look at the TR3A that belongs to my older son, Max. Today we go to visit the Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center, unwisely taking the TR3A, as it is the only one of my cars that has the ground clearance to comfortably negotiate the dirt road that leads to the center. Also, we have just washed the other cars, and didn't want to get them dirty. The TR3A has just come out of storage and was a little dirty to begin with so it seemed appropriate for the dirt road. The engine sounds like the timing is a little off, and it actually broke down the day after we filmed this. That road was so bumpy and rutted we were worried we would have to keep stopping to pick up the various bits that fell off!
