Design interacting controllers in Unisim Software Two equipments are used in order to cool down temperature of methanol mixtures by using a cooler where the outlet stream has to be below 25 degree Celsius. After that, Flash drum is acting as a separator where the vapor components leave at the top and liquid component leave at the bottom, hence the pressure and level has to be under controlled situation. In order to achieve this pressure controller and level controller were employed. The reason of simulation for temperature controller, pressure controller, and level controller in flash drum and cooler is to study and examine controller behaviour and how well it can respond to multiple input and multiple output variables. For example, when it is changed the level in flash drum by level controller signals is there any intervention to other outputs such as temperature and pressure because intervention can cause disturbance in which make the controller to be weak to handle the changes, or the signals from temperature and pressure controller are not disturbed by signals from level controller which means controller is able to cancel the disturbance and at the same time excel at controlling the process parameters. This video is only for short period and for knowledge purpose only where you can gain some general image on what process followed when is designing/tuning interacting signals from multiple controllers in plantwide.
