What sits in the group of the three "Original Supercars," the 959 was Porsche's answer to Group B rally and their ticket to dominance. The legendary Porsche 959 contains the craziest feats the engineers out of Stuttgart could conjure up. Complete with the world's most complex all wheel drive system, the PSK Variable Torque AWD system could move powers from 80:20 to 50:50 in milliseconds, impressing the engineers so much, they started putting it in every 911 Turbo after that! It didnt stop there - at one point it was the world's fastest car, with a 2.85L flat six with sequential twin-turbos to essentially eliminate any lag, and had a computer controlled suspension that could raise the car for rally stages, and dump it for the autobahn. Sure that sounds normal now, but this was unheard of in 1986!
