Hendri Coetzee said that dreams loose their sterility when they are lived. I had so many dreams for this six week solo trip to New Zealand. I learned first hand how not much pans out the way you want it to when travelling. I had plans to send big rapids and waterfalls and really progress my kayaking skills. However, with NZ going through an unprecedented drought in 15yrs, and my head game not being spot on, I never got to paddle nearly as much as I dreamed I would. But that opened other doors for other adventures. I met and spent time with top tier human beings from all over the world. I got welcomed and emersed in the kiwi way of life.
