175. Building a Model Railway Baseboard … in Miniature

The principles are ‘age old’ and haven’t really changed for ever. The recent addition of the ‘Truss Form’ light weight boards are still reliant on basic principles. Here’s how I did it! For the elevated section of the layout, there needs to be a proper foundation for the scene to sit on or it will warp, lean and generally become a liability. On the other hand it’s easy to over think and over engineer too. Today I’m taking a look at how to do it and get ready for the “High Street” to take shape.
