This was my first time ever stepping inside of North Memphis and we went straight into Frayser also known as the Bay to hear directly from the youth about what it is really like growing up here. In this vlog we hear from a 21 year old from North Memphis who speaks on the reality of the neighborhood, the struggles, the wars between communities, and what it is like for the youth coming up in environments like this. We talk about life, survival, culture, and how the streets can impact the direction of young people. My goal with these hood vlogs is to step inside different cities across America and give people a real perspective from the people who actually live there.
