As each class session comes to a close our families gather together to enjoy learning about music through the use of combined sounds and images. Sometimes it's a book and others a video or slide show presentation. For the last six weeks of our Musical Harvest curriculum we used Sparky's Magic Baton which is a classic educational audio book created in 1954 to introduce children to the instruments of the symphony orchestra. The presentation was divided into six weekly segments compiled and edited by Mistermusikmark especially for the MusicClasses4Kids program in Rockland County, NY. This video is all six week's presentations edited into a single movie.
