Monthly Virtual Show & Tell is the Hudson Valley's Tech Community Meetup, an open meeting for anyone in our community or is interested in technology. We explore the latest AI trends and tech career development opportunities and facilitate networking. February 19th Alex Alcivar pitched his civic tech / open data platform PublicDataWatch.com, and John Krupavaram Pole Bhakthavatsalam presented "Agentic Engineering with Google Antigravity: Building Angular + Java" "The developer's role shifts from writing every line of code to orchestrating AI agents. In this session, John demonstrated a live workflow using Google Antigravity (Google’s new agent-first IDE) and the Gemini CLI to build a full-stack application from scratch. Moving beyond simple ""toy"" examples, John tackled a real-world enterprise stack: an Angular frontend connected to a Java (Spring Boot) backend. He showed how to use Antigravity’s ""Mission Control"" to manage autonomous agents that plan, code, and fix errors across multiple files simultaneously. He also showed how to use the Gemini CLI to ""chat with your terminal"" for rapid scaffolding and debugging. So he gave a practical roadmap for integrating AI agents into your daily workflow to 10x your productivity." """Antigravity"" and ""Agentic workflows"" are buzzwords right now, but most demos only show simple Python scripts. John showed how these tools work for real application development with a standard industry stack (Java & Angular). Join our community and Slack channel to get all links. Ongoing Call for Speakers is available for your submission. These talks will be considered for our community meetups and can lead to your speakers engagement with our annual DevFests and Hackathons.
