Van repairs never go exactly to plan… and this day in our self-built camper was no exception 😅 In this episode, what started as a simple fix quickly turned into one of those classic van life days where everything happens at once. From a cracked shower tap, to cladding panels falling down while fixing the wall above our bed, this video shows the real reality of owning and using a self-built camper van. We try (more than once) to put everything back together, deal with the frustration that comes with DIY camper repairs, and make progress where we can, including laying down new rubber mat flooring in the garage area underneath our bed to make the space more practical and hard-wearing. It’s not a big build episode. It’s a real-life van day, full of problem-solving, trial and error, progress, and plenty of laughs along the way.
