In this video, Ronda demonstrates Carefree RV awning operation. This includes how to open and close the manual awning in 2 different positions; the normal position and carport position. She also provides tips on how to maintain a RV awning and fix issues that can occur during operation. Our Escape Travel Trailer has a Carefree of Colorado manual awning. Once you learn the simple steps to open and close it, it can be nearly as fast as an automatic awning to deploy. As full time RVers for the past two years, we have used our Escape Trailer 21's awning for shade and as a dry area outside when it rains.
