DNDi and the US CDC organized a webinar focused on mycetoma, a neglected tropical disease that causes devastating disabilities and death. The webinar took place during the Fungal Disease Awareness Week (FDAW 2024). By bringing together leading experts, a patient advocate, and healthcare professionals, we explored the hidden toll of the disease, highlight the challenges of diagnosis and treatments and discuss the path forward in relation to research advancements and the future of mycetoma control.
