Ali. a young Emirati, is obsessed with Nora, a beautiful Emirati woman, who is blissfully unaware of the love he has for her, mainly because he is too shy to declare it. Instead, he creates a variety of situations which he hopes will reveal his passion and lead to the happy-ever-after ending he longs for. هذه القصة تجري احداثها في دبي التي لا تظهرها الكتيبات السياحية ، ذلك الجزء (من دبي) الذي اصطدم مدويا بالثقافة المحافظة التقليدية ، حيث ينمو التمر على الشجر وحيث تكون الزيجات مرتبة. The story is set in a Dubai not seen in the tourist brochures: the part where the 21st century has crash-banged into the traditional, conservative culture where dates grow on trees and marriages are arranged. لكن علي لا يعيقه شيئ . فمع جهله بفكرة المطاردة السرية ، فهويفعلها. فهو يتعقبها يوميا حتى تصل الى المقهى المفضل لها ، معتقدا انها تاتي هناك من اجله ، بينما في الحقيقة هي تجهل وجوده . وبحذقه في التجسس عليها باستعًمال مهارات تجسس النينجا ، يكتشف ما يعتقد انه اهتمامها ببطولات كمال الاجسام ، ولذا يقرر ان يبني الجسم الذي لا تستطيع ان تقاومه . وهذا يجعله يستذكر طفولتهالتي كان انطوائيا فيها حيث كان الاطفال يطلقون عليه لقب القرد ( السبال). But Ali is not deterred. Unaware of the concept of stalking, he stalks. He follows her daily to her favourite café, believing she is there for him when in fact she does not know he exists. Cleverly spying on her by using his ninja stealth skills, he discovers what he believes to be her interest in body -- building champions, and so determines to develop the body she will be unable to resist. This causes him to recall his lonely childhood when the other kids called him Monkey. Now he'll show them who's a monkey! واحسرتاه ، اذ ان هذه الحيلة الماكرة تفشل في استهواء فتاة احلامه ، ولكن حالفه الحظ ، اذ اكتشف انها تهوى الباليه . فاخذ دروس الباليه ، وضم الىيها مهارته الجديدة وهي معرفته العميقة بالموسيقى الكلاسيكية ، ليبتدع اداء منفردا. يدس العوة سرا، على انها من مجهول ، على طاولتها في المقهى ، فمن باب الفضول تحضر المسرح Alas, this cunning ruse fails to attract the woman of his dreams, but luck is on his side -- he discovers that she loves ballet.
