The modern trend is toward Comprehensible Input. It is the natural way to acquire a new language. Studies show that it is effective and efficient. Experience with Comprehensive Input shows that it can be fun. Input English is designed for adult and teenage English learners to acquire the sounds of the language to foster excellent pronunciation. Grammar and vocabulary are not ignored. No, they are learned and learned well, in context.
