Clashes have broken out between TMC and BJP workers at Coochbehar district. TMC workers went and confronted the BJP blockade and that they were trying to impose a 12-hour bandh in Toofanganj. A short while back, the day before yesterday there had been a death of an individual Kalachand Karmokar who was a BJP booth President from Toofanganj, Coochbehar district. As per the police sources, there had been an ugly clash between two gangs over the immersion of the Kali idol. He died because of the clashes. BJP had then called it a political killing. The person who was arrested for the violence was from the TMC party.
