Convertible helmets have been a total gamechanger in the mountain bike world. Not only do you get two helmets in one, but you also have the option to remove the chin bar for climbing, and reinstall it just before you drop into the next trail. The Bell Super Air R and Bell Super DH are convertible full face helmets with removable chinbars.
