Time for some radical honesty. I'm making an indie beatemup in the godot engine, and today it's broken. You've seen it broken before, but you're NOT prepared to see it this bad. But that's just how it is! If anyone tells you that your game won't go through periods like this, they're lying to you. Everybody who has ever made software was working on something like this at some point. And that's okay! Doesn't mean it's doomed to fail and doesn't reflect on how it's going to be on release. Just takes time to fix. And this is why things take so long. Everything seems to work great and then you have some people test and make some tweaks and everything seems broken again.
