In this video, we’ll be stopping and staying for a couple of nights in Geraldton for our road trip north of Perth. Geraldton is one of the top tourist destinations in Western Australia. It is a fantastic base from which to explore the Coral Coast region for road trips. By car, the trip to Geraldton will take you more or less 5 hours or approximately a 50-minute flight from Perth. If driving, once you hit the Indian Ocean Drive north of Perth, you can cruise along this scenic drive to Geraldton passing pristine beaches, towering dunes and spring wildflowers. The seaside city of Geraldton is the only city on the Coral Coast at the time of writing. The city’s beaches and sunny climate make it a hot-spot for water sport enthusiasts and visitors looking to soak up the sun on pristine beaches. If you base yourself in the city centre, you'll find cafes, bars, restaurants, street art and galleries. You can also explore the area's naturally blessed surrounds, which includes beautiful beaches. The Coral Coast is only one of great destinations in WA. There’s a lot of places to see and things to do here. There’s a variety of fun water activities. The Coral Coast has a picturesque natural surrounding landscape making it an ideal domestic and international tourist destination.
