The pass itself is located within the canton of Berne. The pass road was completed in 1878. The Jaunpass connects the Gruyère region in Fribourg with the Simmental in the Bernese Oberland. Hauteville / La Roche They are municipalities within the district of Gruyère in the canton of Fribourg in Switzerland. Le Mouret It is a municipality in the district of Sarine in the canton of Fribourg in Switzerland. It was created on January 1, 2003 from the union of the former municipalities of Bonnefontaine, Essert, Montévraz, Oberried, Praroman, and Zénauva. Marly It is a municipality in the district of Sarine in the canton of Fribourg in Switzerland. Its German name is Mertenlach, but this is no longer common, although still in regional use.
