In this video series we are exploring the topic of how and why it’s important to use reference material in your artwork, but how to do it in a way that stays original to you. In Part 1 we looked at where to find inspiration, how to find original sources, some places to avoid looking for inspiration and some tips on what to look for. In Part 2, we explored the different ways to collect images, store your inspiration, and to use it. All in ways that will be unique to you and your own aesthetic! In this Part, I show you how I use a method of creating cut-out libraries to help me within my work and to find my own aesthetic.
