Safe City Islamabad has released its comprehensive Performance Report for the year 2025, reflecting a strong commitment to modern, intelligent, and proactive policing under the vision of Inspector General of Police Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi. Throughout 2025, Safe City Islamabad conducted 97,506 surveillance operations, ensuring round-the-clock monitoring of the federal capital. During Muharram-ul-Haram, effective surveillance was carried out for over 1,000 Majaalis and 120+ processions, with routes secured through drone cameras, smart patrol cars, and advanced monitoring systems. Key highlights include: • Addition of 696 AI-based facial recognition and ANPR cameras • Introduction of Hunch Lab and Golden Hour System • 326 critical cases handled with immediate response • Identification of 101 dangerous groups and arrest of 82 suspects through Hunch Lab • 1.145 million individuals’ data recorded via the Hotel Eye System • 300+ proclaimed offenders arrested through digital identification • 745,000 citizens guided via the Digital Control Room • 78,000 complaints resolved on merit through the Complaint Management System The Online Women Police Station Helpline (1815) received 90,000 calls, while Pukar-15 handled over 1.5 million calls, ensuring swift assistance to citizens. Other major initiatives include: • Establishment of the first Quality Assurance Desk • Issuance of 11,372 e-challans • Launch of Online Taxi Verification App and One Info App • Registration of 35,000+ taxis, drivers, and passengers • 1,206 intelligence inputs shared by citizens through the Info App • Introduction of WeChat Service for effective coordination with the Chinese community Safe City Islamabad also ensured real-time monitoring of national & international delegations, sports events, and major public activities, reinforcing a safe, peaceful, and well-organized Islamabad.
