A Welsh MTB Bikepacking Adventure | The Brecons Bash

With the Welsh mountains calling, myself and friend Fin set off on a two-day mountain bike bikepacking adventure across the Brecon Beacons. We followed the Brecons Bash route, starting in Merthyr Tydfil and heading into the Brecon Beacons National Park, passing The Gap, Brecon and Llangorse Lake. Here we wild camped, enjoying a beautiful sunset over Llangorse Lake and the distant Welsh mountains. From here, the route went into the Black Mountains, going over Y Das and down the Grwyne Fawr Reservoir, before finishing in Abergavenny.
