KOBELCO Fan Belt ko KeSe Fiting Kare Here is the KOBELCO Fan Belt fitting description in English, explained simply and clearly: 🛠️ How to Fit / Install KOBELCO Fan Belt 1️⃣ Safety First Switch OFF the engine and remove the key. Make sure the engine is cool before starting work. Never work near the fan or belt when the engine is running. 2️⃣ Open Engine Hood Open the engine cover/hood to access the fan belt area. Remove the belt guard if your Kobelco machine has one. 3️⃣ Remove Old Belt (if replacing) Loosen the alternator or belt tensioner bolt. Push the alternator inward to release belt tension. Carefully remove the old fan belt from all pulleys. 4️⃣ Fit the New Fan Belt Place the new belt correctly on the pulleys: Crankshaft Pulley → Alternator Pulley → Fan Pulley (and idler pulley if equipped). Make sure the belt sits properly inside all pulley grooves. Do not twist or reverse the belt. 5️⃣ Adjust Belt Tension Pull the alternator outward to tighten the belt. Check belt deflection by pressing the belt at the middle point. ✅ Correct deflection: 8–15 mm (0.3–0.6 inch) Too tight → bearing damage Too loose → belt slipping and noise 6️⃣ Tighten All Bolts Once correct tension is set, tighten: Alternator mounting bolt Adjusting/tensioner bolt Ensure all bolts are firmly tightened. 7️⃣ Final Inspection Start the engine and run at low idle for 3–5 minutes. Stop the engine and recheck belt tension. Adjust again if necessary. ⚠️ Important Tips Do not allow oil or grease on the belt. Replace all belts together if twin belts are used. Recheck belt tension after a few hours of operation. #kobelco #excavator
