Using the Lansky Sharpening System to sharpen a crappy $5 butterfly knife I bought years ago. I didn't go into too much detail on the actual sharpening process, but I showed the basics of getting the knife from completely dull to hair shaving sharp. For a full tutorial on how to use this system effectively I highly recommend this video by Gough Custom:    • How To Sharpen a Knife   Overall, this is one of the best knife sharpeners I've ever used and is the best fully portable knife sharpening system I've ever used. My only complaint is that after you buy the extra hones that are needed to really get a mirror polish and hair popping edge the price practically doubles. This cheap knife is made out of crappy steel so it didn't get all that sharp at the end. However, I've noticed way better results with knives with higher quality steel.
