Tapping into the soave & dreamy romantic language and mood very often a key feature in bossa nova music, the lyrics are full of musical language, calling back to the genre itself, and samba too. For the single release I leaned into a retro-futuristic Funk sound, adding a psychedelic quality to the melody in the chorus and juicing up the sound with analogue synths and vocoder effects, giving it a NuDisco quality.
