Prakash Ambedkar lived normal life in his childhood

In an interaction with reporters during Idea Exchange organized by Loksatta, the Marathi daily of The Indian Express group, Prakash Ambedkar explain his views on various issues. He recollect the memories from his childhood to active participation in dalit movement. Mr. Ambedkar is the national leader of a local political party called Bharipa Bahujan Mahasangh (BBM). He is the grandson of Bharat Ratna Dr. B. R. Ambedkar. He was a member of the 13th Lok Sabha of India. He has twice represented the Lok Sabha constituency of Akola, Maharashtra, India. He has served in both houses of the Indian Parliament. Recently he said, the mention of caste should be removed from school leaving certificates, which led to the big controversy.
