One expectant mom might be looking for a stay-at-home-mom while another expectant mom might really want a family where both parents work outside the home to financially provide for the family. The four strong birth moms in this video tell their own personal stories about how they searched for the right family, the criteria they felt was so important, the gut feelings they had that made them confident in their choice, and how they ultimately made their decisions. One wise birth mother says, "When I [realized] I'm not choosing his family, I'm finding the family he already has." Each member of the adoption triad is going to have a different viewpoint on why adoption was the right choice for their child, but all feel the responsibility to choose the best family they can for them.
