I couldn’t be more proud of this girl! After all these years, it is finally here and I can hardly believe it tbh! It almost felt like a mirage when I first saw the announcement of her solo! And I am so so so pleased with this release! I think it encapsulated her very well, she’s the definition of refinement, sophistication, classic beauty, romantic, chic, with a bit of a wild/savage side to her. A rose that still has its thorns, a flower that has plenty of layers just like herself and a flower that exuded so many different scents too and it can appeal to many different people. This MV was just like her, full of layers, versatile range of colours, emotions, looks etc. I absolutely loved how her voice shined here and had almost a magnetic effect, sometimes sweet, some other piercing, sometimes deep and other times high! I really believe that, while the song is on the shorter side, she really managed to showcase herself as an artist here. I really felt like flipping through a high end fashion magazine where she is the muse and the modern aphrodite! I also love the title of this because it also represents her so well in my opinion! Her growth has been beautiful to witness and her in full bloom is such a gorgeous gorgeous sight! The song itself isn't one that is completely astonishing and is definitely more low-key, a bit more laid back and so understandably some people might feel underwhelmed by it however I think the intention was to create this more classic, almost detached? feeling, if that makes sense. Overall the song fitted the MV and vice and versa.
