The SC-D70 is a newer revision of same series of hardware and which sounds better is a matter of many factors but to me both versions sound great. Since I picked SC-55 for the Descent upload here I am choosing the SC-D70 version, credit of "Roland ED SC-D70 Music Packs" website AKA Jan Reimer. Doom 2 original version songs composed by Robert Prince. Many of the songs show obvious influences from popular heavy metal songs.
