TEHRAN VOWS REVENGE: IRGC Fires Mach 13 Sejjil Missile, FM Araghchi Rejects Ceasefire Talks

Iran has launched its advanced Sejjil ballistic missile for the first time since the start of the war that began on February 28, marking a major escalation in the ongoing confrontation with the United States and Israel. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said the missile launch took place during the 54th wave of its “True Promise 4” operation targeting Israeli military-linked facilities. The Sejjil is a two-stage, solid-fuel medium-range ballistic missile with a range of around 2,000 kilometres and speeds exceeding Mach 13 during its terminal phase.
