Christmas reminds us that God keeps His promises. “For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given” (Isaiah 9:6). In the quiet of Bethlehem, God entered our world not with power and wealth, but with humility and love. Jesus came as light into darkness, hope for the weary, and salvation for all who believe. The angels proclaimed peace on earth, not because the world was perfect, but because a Savior had come. Through Christ, God offers forgiveness, restoration, and new life. Christmas calls us to receive this gift with grateful hearts and to live in obedience and faith. As we celebrate, may we remember that the manger points to the cross, and the cross to eternal life. Let us rejoice, worship, and share this good news with others, for “today in the city of David a Savior has been born to you; He is Christ the Lord” (Luke 2:11).
