Often, it’s not personal—it’s bandwidth, internal delays, or a role being deprioritized. 2️⃣ Silence ≠ Rejection. Amazon is known for long, unpredictable hiring cycles. What feels like “ghosting” is often internal approvals, bar-raiser calendar delays, or simply the recruiter not having an update to give. 3️⃣ You control your narrative. Instead of waiting weeks in silence, send a short follow-up every 5–7 business days. Professional persistence shows ownership and drive—two LPs Amazon values. 4️⃣ One recruiter’s silence doesn’t define your future. You can still apply to other roles, reach out to different recruiters, and stay engaged with Amazon talent communities. Your momentum shouldn’t hinge on one inbox. 5️⃣ The right opportunity doesn’t require you to chase it endlessly. If communication stops completely, close that chapter with grace.
