Gary from VBH explains a little about the newest member of the greenteQ profile cylinder family; Orion. greenteQ Orion is a TS007 3 star rated profile cylinder that sits alongside the standard 6 pin Gamma, and TS007 1 star Q-Star products in the greenteQ range. Orion provides full protection against drilling, picking, bumping and snap and extract without the need for any additional protection, such as security handle sets or cylinder shields. Each Orion is supplied with 5 dimple cut keys as standard, along with a key card with details of how the user should register their new lock. Orion is protected by the Key Security Scheme which means that, once registered, additional keys can only be purchased when the user's unique personal password is given. When the cylinder is registered it is also qualifies for proteQ10 protection. proteQ10 guarantees to pay the user £2000 if a break in is achieved due to the cylinder being snapped and extracted. On top of all this, Orion is a Q-secure PREMIUM rated product. This means that if it fails when fitted as part of a Q-secure installation and entry is gained, the homeowner can claim up to £8000 direct from VBH towards the costs associated with a break in.
