Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.5-16v Evolution II [AUTOart Model]

Welcome to my video of the Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.5 16-Valve Evolution II by AUTOart Models! There were three German automobiles of the 1980s that make me weak in the knees: The BMW M3 Evolution (which I previously reviewed a model of), the Audi Quattro LWB Coupe (which is another model you will see a video of before 2013 is over) and this, the MB 190E Evo II. Of the three, however, this one stands above the the others. I always felt that the 190E Evo II was an already fantastic car pushed to the absolute edge in terms of engineering. By the time the Evo II came out in 1990, the 190E had been on sale for about eight years. This was almost an entire decade of using intimate knowledge of everything the car had to give and putting it into the sportiest Mercedes up to that date. This model does the car justice nicely. Everything is the quality and perfection that should be expected from an AUTOart model. There were a couple of issues such as the adjustable rear spoiler coming off very easily (and not going back into place easily). Also, there is a weird marking on one of the brake rotors...plus the grille comes off very easily. Some very minor faults, but easy ones that could have been avoided. If you have been on the fence about buying this model: DO IT. It is definitely one of my favorites and looks great with the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG that I reviewed previously.
