Today we visited Aztalan State Park in Wisconsin, home to ancient Native American mounds and the remains of a 1,000-year-old Mississippian settlement. Aztalan was once a fortified village built by Indigenous people who constructed large earthen platform mounds, walls, and ceremonial spaces along the Crawfish River. Walking the grounds, you can still feel the history layered into the land. In this video, we explore the mounds, the river, and the quiet presence of a place that has held community, ceremony, and life for centuries. Being there reminded us how important it is to slow down, to listen, and to simply be together. No perfection. No pretending. Just Everyday Us. Real love. Real life. Real growth.
