6WB retrofit for one of our customers. The video should give you a good idea of the process involved in fitting a new cluster from the dealer. The coding and programming is the most tricky part, the basics are outlined in the video however i would expect anyone trying this to be familiar with the software used and be able to troubleshoot any issues themselves. For the final programming and coding I logged into BMW's online programming system and fully updated the cars integration level. This ensures the cars software is completely up to date and will also transfer the freshly adopted vehicle order to BMW's servers, meaning when the car goes to any main dealer or specialist for programming none of the retrofit coding is at danger. This is as near as there is at the minute to an OFFICIAL retrofit.
