Stainless Steel Braided Clutch and Brake Lines | AnthonyJ350

Stainless steel braided lines give you a firmer feel from your brakes and give you consistent action from your hydraulic clutch. I do believe a fresh rubber line and stainless line will feel the same when the vehicle is relatively cool. However if the rubber line has some age on it and you've been driving for a very long time on a hot summer day, that stainless steel braided line is going to give you much more consistent performance all day long. From personal experience, stainless steel braided lines do give better pedal feel. I have them on my daily driven pickup, on my motorcycle and now on my Nissan 350Z. The only thing so far what I haven't noticed a big difference, was how the clutch pedal felt on the 350Z, it felt about the same. When I bought my bike, it was a 1994 model, so all the lines were old, and the brakes just felt soft. I opted to install stainless braided lines, and the brakes and clutch felt as good as any new bike. The truck feels better than practically every new truck and brake effort is minimal for a full size truck.
