The 14th International Virtual ARC Salon Exhibition is now open at Sothebys.com. The show consists of 99 works from the 14th ARC Salon Competition by representational artists from around the world and incorporates 70 artist videos like this one! Over 2 hours of edited video footage is presented in 40 second to 3 minute mini-films, embedded directly into the newly designed digital catalog. Together they tell an overarching story about the passion behind representational expression, life, and the human condition as reflected in the art itself. The exhibition also includes a written interview, images, a short video about the Representational Art Movement, and a virtual walkthrough space of the show, as well as a special Fashion Week San Diego event, the “Art and Beauty Behind Fashion”, where FWSD designers have created couture looks inspired by some of the paintings.
